Our PADI Open Water course is designed in three simple steps, making your journey to becoming a certified PADI Open Water scuba diver easy, fun, and convenient.
Step 1: Complete the PADI Open Water Diver eLearning course from the comfort of your home.
Step 2: Participate in classroom training, then you will learn essential scuba skills in our safe and controlled pool environment.
Step 3: Experience two exhilarating days of open-water dives from the beach and boat, where you can put your skills into practice.

Requirements for Participation: To enroll in our PADI Open Water course, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 10 years old.
- Be able to swim.
- Complete a PADI medical questionnaire to ensure your safety.
- Students must provide their mask, fins, snorkel, weights, and Surface Marker Buoy (SMB). Receive a 10% discount when purchased at Divers Cove.
- PADI eLearning assigned to Divers Cove.

Jun 24, 2024Closed out my open water certification with my fantastic instructor Mr. Scott Simpson. The team at Divers Cove, especially Andres, are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and approachable. Scott was a by the book instructor, which for me is good as safety first, and made sure I had all the proper skill sets before stepping foot in the ocean. Scott was constantly monitoring me to ensure I was comfortable in the water and was paying attention to my surrounding. That made the ocean dive just a "fun" dive. Great experience and would HIGHLY recommend Divers Cove.

My instructor, Donovan, was extremely patient with me as I was pretty nervous during my first few dives and struggled with the mask flood. Natalee (the shop owner) made everything seamless and easy to schedule my dives. Definitely, get certified with Divers cove!
