Are you living out of state? No worries at all! We totally get it; as fellow scuba lovers, we know how important it is to keep your equipment in tip-top shape, especially that crucial regulator. Just mail it to us, cover the shipping costs to send it back to you in about four days once we receive it. You’ll get updates when we receive your regulator, and we’ll even share some before-and-after photos of our work. Our tech will also give you a quick call to let you know it’s on its way back! Just don’t forget to print and fill out the service form and pack your regulator securely so it arrives safe and sound.
What's involved in a regulator service?
When you bring your regulator in for servicing, our certified technician will start by carefully disassembling it. They'll thoroughly clean it, removing any grime or salt buildup that can affect how it works. Next, they'll inspect each part closely for any signs of wear and tear. If they find any O-rings, filters, or components that need to be replaced, they’ll take care of it. Plus, they'll adjust the breathing resistance to meet safety standards, ensuring you have a comfortable dive every time you head underwater. Once everything is cleaned and replaced as needed, the technician will reassemble your regulator and put it through some tough testing. They'll check for proper airflow and functionality under different conditions, so you can feel confident in your gear.
